There are six newcomers to the Waterford team for tonight's Munster SHL round 2 meeting against Cork in Mallow (throw-in 7.30pm).

Manager Derek McGrath is set to give senior debuts to Conor Gleeson, Shane Roche, Kieran Bennett, Micheal Harney, Tommy Waring and Colm Roche in the Deise's season opener.

Gleeson, Roche and Bennett make up the full back line while Harney and Waring fill the half forward positions with Roche wearing number 14.

Midfield pair Colin Dunford and Shane Bennett are the only players included who featured in last year's All-Ireland semi-final defeat to Kilkenny.
