Kerry county board treasurer Weeshie Lynch has reported that they are over €900k in profit for 2015.

In his annual report to last night's county convention, Lynch reported an overall profit of €907,417, which is a massive rise of 112% on last year's figure.

The significant increase can be largely attributed to the €722,051 taken in through international funding this year.

Total expenditure stood for 2015 was €4,437,279, which is a marginal increase from the 2014 figure of €4,105,127.

Team expenses this year were close to €1m (€998,495), a 3% rise on the 2014 total, with physiotherapy and medical services, which reached €194,292, included in that figure.

"Player welfare is very important and we left no stone unturned to ensure all our players were looked after in relation to scans, x-rays, MRIs and what not," Lynch told delegates at the Gleneagle Hotel last night.
