Eoin and Paddy Bradley are notable omissions from new Derry manager Damian Barton's provisional squad.
Barton yesterday announced a 43-man training panel which raises questions over the intercounty futures of both Bradley brothers. Eoin rejoined the squad last year when Brian McIver softened his stance over the Glenullin sharpshooter's soccer commitments, but is deemed surplus to requirements for the time being, while Paddy also remains in exile.
Injured pair Mark Lynch and Kevin Johnston have both been included, while Gerard O'Kane and James Kielt are both recalled.
The Slaughtneil contingent have been left out for the time being and a total ot twelve rookies have been included. As well as Eoin Bradley, Neill McNicholl, Michael McIver, Sean Brady and Fergal Doherty (retired) are others from the squad that travelled to Galway for July's SF Qualifier to be left out.
So I'm not in the top 43 players in derry..il have to work harder
