Mick Barrett from Castlebar hit the headlines 12 months ago after infamously invading the Gaelic Grounds pitch towards the end of Mayo's All-Ireland SFC semi-final replay defeat to Kerry.
Five stewards had their work cut out as they tried to prevent 'Mayo Mick' from confronting referee Cormac Reilly in the Connacht side's 3-13 to 3-16 extra-time loss.
He was subsequently hit with a one-year ban which expired yesterday - meaning he is now eligible to attend next Saturday's replay against Dublin.
"It will never happen again, but it happened in the spur of the minute," he said at the time.
"Maybe it was wrong, it was spur of the minute, but I did nothing wrong."
