A report has suggested that Jason Ryan will seek a third year with Kildare's senior footballers.

The Irish Independent reports today that Ryan has met with officials in the county since the Lilywhites' 27-point hammering at the hands of Kerry in the All-Ireland SFC quarter-final earlier this month and has reiterated his desire to stay on as manager for another season.

Last week, Kildare county board confirmed that it would sit down with the Waterford native to discuss his future, with initial signs suggesting that he will not be offered another term in the position.
