Match-winner Sean Quigley says Fermanagh never once panicked against Roscommon - even when trailing by six points.

The Ernemen claimed a stunning victory at Enniskillen on Sunday when they reeled off 1-4 without reply in the last ten minutes, including a superb Quigley clincher.

"We have the confidence within ourselves to know that we can grind a team down and I think that's what we did to Roscommon," the Roslea sharpshooter notes in The Fermanagh Herald.

"They were six points up in the second half and really and truly we never panicked. We got the penalty at the right time but we never panicked and I think we were deserved winners in the end.

"It was a matter of keeping the head down and doing what you could for the team. Thankfully, with the last kick of the game, the ball went over the bar.

"When it landed perfectly in my chest I knew what I was going to do with it and nobody was going to stop it. In all my life coming to Brewster Park, I've never heard a roar like that. It was unbelievable.

"There were grown men in tears out there and that's a Round Three Qualifier game."
