Preview: SFC qualifier - Fermanagh v Roscommon

"It was one of those days, there were good balls coming in. When it's going right for you, you have to make the most of it. I don't know if it'll happen again but we'll see how it goes."

It's no exaggeration to say that Fermanagh's chances of claiming Roscommon's scalp depends on Sean Quigley having the scoring boots on again.

The Ernesiders' full-forward racked up 14 points (seven from play) against the Saffrons and more of the same will be required if they are to spring a surprise on the primrose and blues.

John Evans and his players got their shock Connacht SFC semi-final exit at the hands of Sligo out of their system courtesy of a merited 3-17 to 1-16 win over 14-man Cavan in Kingspan Breffni Park.

"I was very proud of the lads up in Cavan, they had a very trying two weeks," the Kerry native stated.

"It was nice to get the win and the trick now is to move on look for a second win. We know how good Fermanagh are and travelling away will make it all the more difficult."

Tomorrow will mark the first championship meeting of Fermanagh and Roscommon.
