Cork answered their critics with a spirited performance today but Barry O'Driscoll says it was 'agonising' to concede a stoppage time equaliser to their arch rivals.

The Rebels were written off in most quarters in advance of the decider but O'Driscoll looked to have secured a surprise victory for Brian Cuthbert's charges with a goal only for Fionn Fitzgerald to come to the Kingdom's rescue.

"You hear all of [the criticism]. Yeah, it does annoy you and we're fed up of it," O'Driscoll told RTÉ Sport.

"[It was] agonising [to concede the late point], yeah, but a good performance in the second half.

"We'll take a lot from it, positives and negatives going to the next day.

"We're looking to perform like this and better every time we go out so we'll move on to the next day."
