Cork duo Tom Clancy and John O'Rourke have been ruled out of Sunday's Munster SFC semi-final against Clare.

Clancy is sidelined by an ankle injury sustained during Clonakilty's Cork SFC defeat to O'Donovan Rossa last month, while O'Rourke suffered a dislocated shoulder during the league final loss to Dublin in late April.

Midfielder Ian Maguire (bulged disc) is also out of contention this weekend but has resumed light training and - like Clancy and O'Rourke - should feature before the summer is out

Veteran midfielder Alan O'Connor, meanwhile, is reported to be "coming along very well" and is in line for a possible starting berth against the Banner County. O'Connor retired from intercounty football at the end of the 2013 season but rejoined at the tail-end of this year's league campaign.
