Still reeling from last Sunday's Munster SHC first round loss to Limerick, Clare have been dealt another blow with the news that Aaron Cunningham will miss their next game.

Clare FM is reporting that the forward will miss the All-Ireland qualifier on July 4 after tearing his hamstring whilst playing for his club Wolfe Tones against St. Joseph's Doora-Barefield in the county SHC last night.

Cunningham was a nailed-on certainty to start the next day after scoring 2-1 after coming off the bench against Limerick.

The Banner will also be without their captain Pat Donnellan following his straight red card last weekend, while Colm Galvin (currently in the US) and Podge Collins (football commitments) are also likely to be absent.
