Crossmaglen Rangers' senior league meeting with Ballymacnab came to an abrupt halt after just 20 minutes last weekend reports Gaelic Life.
It is believed that Saturday's match was called off by referee Michael Leonard because Cross' joint-manager John McEntee failed to engage with him within the designated three-minute period.
McEntee had entered the pitch to offer advice to his goalkeeper Paul Hearty and made a comment to the referee as he was leaving the field. When Leonard called McEntee over, he didn't present himself inside three minutes so the referee called the match to a halt.
Crossmaglen say they were not aware that McEntee had been called over by the referee. Armagh's Competitions Control Committee will study the referee's report before making a decision on the outcome of the game, which Ballymacnab led by a point at the time of its premature cessation.
