Dublin and Cork will vie for the title of Division 1 champions for 2015. Here's who stood out for us in yesterday's two semi-final encounters ...

1. Ken O'Halloran (Cork)

The Cork custodian kept his end of the bargain when pulling off two crucial saves to deny Colm McFadden and Paddy McBrearty.

2. Ryan Wylie (Monaghan)

Underlined his importance to the Farney County cause with a stand-out performance throughout the 70 minutes against Dublin.

3. Tom Clancy (Cork)

Scored his team's first goal against Donegal but can expect a sterner test of his defensive credentials against Dublin in the decider.

4. Philly McMahon (Dublin)

Jersey numbers count for little these days and McMahon popped up at the opposite end of the field to send over two points for the metropolitans.

5. James McCarthy (Dublin)

There are few who would bet against McCarthy and the sky blues making it three league title wins in-a-row when they square up to Cork on Sunday week.

6. Vinny Corey (Monaghan)

The no-nonsense defender used all his experience to help nullify the considerable threat posed by Dublin's highly rated half-forward line.

7. Jack McCaffrey (Dublin)

The flying half-back's return to top form has been one of the highlights of Dublin's march to the Division 1 decider.

8. Dick Clerkin (Monaghan)

Monaghan struggled around the middle third of the field until Clerkin's arrival on the field and the experienced Currin clubman kicked three fine points.

9. Fintan Goold (Cork)

The Rebel midfielder walked away with the 'man-of-the-match' accolade after contributing four points from play to the four point win over Donegal.

10. Kieran Hughes (Monaghan)

The all-action Hughes put in a determined shift which included a spectacular catch from a kick-out and two points from play.

11. Michael Murphy (Donegal)

The captain returned from suspension and was on target with eight points (four from play) as Donegal came up short against the Rebel County.

12. Brian Fenton (Dublin)

The newcomer from Raheny certainly doesn't look out of place on the senior inter-county stage and he raised two white flags against Monaghan.

13. Colm O'Neill (Cork)

Aside from scoring 2-1, the predatory corner-forward also created Cork's first goal for Tom Clancy.

14. Conor McManus (Monaghan)

The supremely gifted McManus caused consternation in the Dublin full-back line, shooting over eight points, and didn't deserve to end up on the losing side.

15. Paddy McBrearty (Donegal)

Rory Gallagher didn't seem overly concerned about Donegal's loss but he will be hoping that McBrearty can carry his league form into the championship.
