Colm O'Neill was keen to put things into perspective after Cork's Allianz Football League semi-final victory over Donegal.

O'Neill scored 2-2 in another man of the match display as the Rebels set up a final date with Dublin in a fortnight's time, but maintains that Donegal were not at their best.

"In fairness, Donegal probably had one eye on the championship (they play Tyrone on 17 May), so we can take the win with a pinch of salt really," he told RTE.

"They have been there or thereabouts for the last few years and they'll have huge say in the championship later on. We won't get too carried away."

The Ballyclough sharpshooter also made light of his performance, saying: "I was in the right place at the right time for one of the goals. The ball hit off the post and into my hands. In fairness, the lads out around the middle put in a fierce shift."
