Cathal Barrett has emerged as an injury doubt for Tipperary's Allianz Hurling League semi-final against Waterford on Sunday.

The 2014 Young Hurler of the Year suffered a shoulder injury during this week's warm weather training camp in Spain and will undergo a scan to determine the extent of the damage.

Tipp are already planning for the semi-final without Seamus Callanan after the star forward decided not to appeal the red card he received in the quarter-final win over Offaly to the Central Appeals Committee.
