Leitrim's Kevin Conlon

Leitrim 1-18

London 0-9

Leitrim secured their first win in Division 4 thanks to a comfortable victory over bottom side London in Carrick-on-Shannon.

Thomas Mulvey's 53rd minute goal made the win safe after a run of five unanswered points after the restart had propelled the home side into a four-point lead.

The wind-assisted Exiles led by 0-5 to 0-3 after 25 minutes, but two Kevin Conlon frees ensured the hosts of parity, 0-5 apiece, at the break.

Mark Gottsche restored London's lead immediately after the resumption, but the hosts then took control. After Mulvey's goal, they added a further seven points in reply to just two for Paul Coggins' fading charges.
