Tyrone opened their Ulster U21 FC campaign with a convincing 10 point victory over Fermanagh in Healy Park tonight.

The Fergal Logan managed Red Hands were dominant throughout and turned around for the second half with a seven point advantage - 0-9 to 0-2.

They survived an early scare when a Fermanagh penalty hit the woodwork while Mark Kavanagh and Mark Bradley hit 0-4 and 0-3 respectively during the opening period.

It was a relatively straight forward night's work for Tyrone as the second half followed a similar pattern.

Cathal McShane and Lee Brennan found the target with three points apiece after the resumption.
