Heavy hitters join Tyrone backroom team

Tyrone U-21 football manager Fergal Logan has pieced together an impressive looking backroom team.

The Red Hands are aiming to win a first Ulster title at the grade since 2006 and Logan will be joined on the sideline by former All-Ireland winning captains Peter Canavan and Brian Dooher.

Dooher was involved last year but Canavan, along with John Devine and Peter Donnelly (strength and conditioning), are new recruits.

"There are a lot of good people putting the shift back in, the shift on the field, and we can only hope that the young fellows learn something," Logan outlined to The Irish News.

"We're working hard, and all we can keep doing is work as hard as we are. There's a team of players and a backroom team, and the best I can say is that everybody is doing their bit for Tyrone and trying to push the thing on."
