Mayo football captain Keith Higgins has been named among the substitutes for the county hurlers' Allianz League Division 2B encounter with Donegal in Letterkenny tomorrow.

A recent agreement between football managers Pat Holmes and Noel Connelly, and their hurling counterpart JP Coen, means dual players such as Higgins and U21 stars David Kenny, Sean Regan and Morgan Lyons are free to play both codes. None of the U21s will feature in tomorrow's game, however.
