Team news: McHugh handed number 10 jersey

Donegal manager Rory Gallagher has included nine of the team that lost last year's All-Ireland SFC final in his starting 15 for this weekend's Division 1 opener against Derry.

Paul Durcan, Eamon McGee, Paddy McGrath, Karl Lacey, Frank McGlynn, Neil Gallagher, Odhran MacNiallais, Ryan McHugh and Michael Murphy will line out against the Oak Leafers.

Gallagher's team also includes Christy Toye, Paddy McBrearty and Martin McElhinney who all saw action as substitutes against the Kingdom last September while 2012 All-Star Mark McHugh will line out at right half-forward.

McHugh's Kilcar club-mate Ciaran McGinley is the only new face.
