It was all one-way traffic at the Mardyke today as UCC scored a comfortable Fitzgibbon Cup Group B victory over GMIT.

The game was effectively over as a contest at the halfway stage as goals from Cork stars Alan Cadogan and Conor Lehane parachuted Ger Cunningham's side into a 2-10 to 0-3 lead.

Clare's Shane O'Donnell netted a third goal in the 54th minute to add gloss to their victory.
