GMIT 0-14
DIT 1-9

Two injury-time points from Michael Farragher and Ronan Steede saw GMIT fall over the line with their noses in front against DIT in the Sigerson Cup at Tuam Stadium today.

Ciaran Reddin had levelled matters for the visitors as full-time approached but the Corofin duo struck late to secure the Galway college's safe passage to the last eight.

DIT held a slender 1-4 to 0-6 interval lead thanks to Conor Madden's 17th minute goal but the 2013 champions are now out of the running.
