Sigerson Cup holders UCC booked their McGrath Cup final ticket with a comfortable 12-point victory over hosts IT Tralee last night.

Kerry's Conor Cox top scored for the winners with six points (one free) while his full-forward line colleagues Thomas Hickey and Paul Geaney chipped in with three and two points respectively.

In contrast, IT Tralee only managed one point from play and they had to wait 63 minutes until Conor Keane's effort.

Billy Morgan's charges established a commanding 0-10 to 0-2 lead by the halfway stage and Luke Connolly, Sean Kiely and Brian O'Driscoll also made life difficult for Noel Kennelly and his Tralee students.

UCC will now face the winners of the Cork versus Waterford semi-final in the decider.
