Tyrone and Armagh were victorious in Section C of the McKenna Cup today.
Mickey Harte's charges remain on course for a fourth successive title after easing to a 1-12 to 0-3 victory over St. Mary's at Healy Park. Patrick Quinn scored the game's only goal in the second half.
Armagh bounced back from their defeat to the Red Hands last weekend by accounting for Antrim by 2-11 to 1-4 at Creggan to give manager Kieran McGeeney's his first win.
Star forward Jamie Clarke, who lined out at wing back, was sent off on two yellow cards for the Orchard County who pulled away for a comfortable win thanks to second half goals from Stefan Forker and Oisin Mac Iomhair after just four points, 0-6 to 0-2, had separated the sides at the break.
