Many tributes have been paid on twitter to John Galvin after he announced his retirement from inter-county football.
Described as Limerick's greatest ever footballer, the powerful midfielder has decided to call time on his career after 15 years. He will, however, continue to line out for his adopted Cratloe in the Clare SFC in 2015.
