Rising stars Cian Lynch and Tom Morrissey have been included in Limerick hurling manager TJ Ryan's panel for 2015.
The Limerick Leader is reporting that the pair, who played in last September's All-Ireland MHC final loss to Kilkenny, are among five newcomers to the 32-man squad which will once again be captained by Donal O'Grady. The other new additions are Pat Begley (Mungret), Adrian Breen (Na Piarsaigh) and Seanie O'Brien (Patrickswell).

Breen joins his brother David on the panel, while O'Brien's brother Thomas is also involved.

A notable inclusion is veteran Niall Moran, who came out of retirement to play in the latter stages of last year's championship.

The six players who have been cut from the panel are Alan Dempsey (Na Piarsaigh), Mark Carmody (Patrickswell), Micheal Ryan (Doon), William Hickey (South Liberties), Thomas Quaid (Effin) and Paudie Ahern (Kilteely-Dromkeen). Of the sextet, Ryan is the only one to have played in the championship in the past two years.

Last year's All-Ireland semi-finalists will open their 2015 campaign with a Waterford Crystal Cup quarter-final against either Waterford or LIT on Sunday week.
