Mickey Donnelly is to remain in charge of the Tyrone minor footballers next year after all.

The Aghaloo clubman's reign looked to have come to an unexpected end in September when a number of county board delegates opposed his reappointment. But after clarification was sought from Croke Park, it emerged that Donnelly and his assistant Kieran McHugh were entitled see out the second year of a two-year term.

It has been reported that Donnelly - who led the Red Hands to an All-Ireland final appearance against Mayo last year - will have former county stars Ryan McMenamin and Brian McGuigan in his new management set-up.
