Interviews for the position of Sligo senior football manager are scheduled to take place this week.

Chairman Joe Taaffe confirmed to The Examiner that a four-person selection committee will meet with candidates in the coming days as they search for Pat Flanagan's replacement.

The aim is to have a name to put to clubs next week.

"That is our plan and we are hoping to have a new manager in place sometime next week."
