Armagh midfielder Aaron Findon will not be disciplined for pushing Donegal team doctor Kevin Moran to the ground.

Findon knocked the Letterkenny-based surgeon over during the first half of Sunday's All-Ireland SFC quarter-final at Croke Park after Moran came onto the field to treat Karl Lacey, with whom the midfielder had been grappling.

Referee Joe McQuillan issued Findon with a yellow card at the time and the GAA's Central Competitions Control Committee have reviewed the referee's report and ruled that they can't revisit the incident as McQuillan already dealt with it.

It is believed that Findon subsequently contacted the Donegal camp to convey an apology to Moran, who graciously stated that he did not want any action taken against the Armagh man.

Meanwhile, Orchard County manager Paul Grimley will also escape sanctions for his set-to with Donegal's Eamonn McGee.
