Malachy O'Rourke says Dublin will "run straight through" Monaghan if they don't show a big improvement on last Saturday's display against Kildare.

The Farneymen prevailed after extra-time to record their first championship win at Croke Park since 1930, but the odds are firmly stacked against them making it two wins in-a-row at GAA headquarters in next Saturday's All-Ireland SFC quarter-final.

"They have very few weaknesses all over the field," the Monaghan manager said of the All-Ireland champions.

"If you give them time and space on the ball, they will run straight through you.

"We want to just prepare as well as we can and make sure we turn up next week as well. And even though we have only a week to recover, hopefully (the Kildare game) will stand to us ... look, there's no point crying about the opposition now."
