Roscommon manager John Evans feels that his side is improving by the game.

The Connacht side face a tough test in the latest round of qualifiers on Saturday afternoon when they take on Armagh at Dr Hyde Park.

The Orchard County defeated Tyrone at Healy Park last weekend and they go into this match brimming with confidence.

However, Evans believes that his young side are maturing with each game, but he stressed to the Roscommon Herald that Armagh will be a stern challenge for them.

"You look at what Armagh did to Tyrone. They seem to be going really well," said Evans. "They've been relegated to Division Three, but they've established a newly found confidence in the championship. Kieran McGeeney has made a big impact with them.

"We are growing. Whether we have grown sufficiently to be in a position to win this game, we'll see on Saturday. We're learning how to win games, but Armagh are going to be a real step-up in quality for us."
