Roscommon manager John Evans knows that his side face a tough test in the NFL Division Three final at Croke Park on Saturday evening.

Evans is hoping that Roscommon can reproduce the form that they showed in the earlier rounds of the league, but they must do so without their under-21 contingent who are being rested ahead of the All-Ireland final on Saturday week.

Speaking to the Roscommon Herald he said: "We be hoping to see some of the free-flowing football that we saw earlier in the league. I'm sure Cavan will have something to say about that. The open spaces of Croke Park should suit us. Obviously I'm hoping that the scores will flow.

"But it will be difficult. Cavan's set up is pretty stern and strong in the sense that they go all out defensive. It won't be an easy nut to crack. I think it will be tough enough. They've been consistent in all their games in keeping the opposition's scoreline down and not scoring much more themselves."
