Brian Cody has made a raft of changes to his Kilkenny team for Sunday's Allianz NHL Division 1A meeting with Galway at Nowlan Park.

The new faces for the Cats this weekend are goalkeeper Eoin Murphy, defenders Conor Fogarty, Michael Walsh, Jackie Tyrrell and Cillian Buckley, midfielder Geoff Brennan and forwards Richie Hogan and Joe Brennan.

David Herity, Willie Phelan, Kieran Joyce, Joey Holden, Brian Hogan, Tommy Walsh, Henry Shefflin and Colin Fennelly, who notched 3-5 all from play against Tipperary last time out, step out.

Shefflin and Fennelly are notable absentees from the match day panel.
