Flooding on Jones Road

The road running alonside the Hogan Stand was rendered nearly impassable to traffic as torrential rain created lake like conditions.
We are told that matters will have cleared by the time tomorrows triple header gets underway but this is not the first occasion that such severe flooding took place outside the Hogan Stand
Some years back patrons at the Kerry Galway championship match emerged into similar monsoon like conditions.
Obviously some fault exists with the drainage system in the area and unless matters are rectified we could have a mini disaster or at the very least an embarassing situation on our hands. Tweet
