Some of the unsavoury stuff from the Dublin - Wexford Leinster SHC replay will be investigated.
Tempers flared at times at Parnell Park on Saturday night and the Central Competitions Control Committee intends to look into some of the incidents that transpired.
Wexford's Andrew Shore was sent off but Dublin's Conor McCormack and Wexford's Garett Sinnott escaped a similar fate for alleged actions which were highlighted on The Sunday Game.
Sinnott could escape any further punishment as the match referee issued him with a yellow card for his indiscretion.
As both teams are in action again this weekend - Wexford facing Antrim in a Qualifier on Saturday and the Dubs meeting Kilkenny on Sunday for a place in the provincial final - the CCCC is expected to move quickly.
