Cavan manager Terry Hyland speaks to the media
Terry Hyland is predicting a close contest between neighbours Cavan and Monaghan in the Ulster SFC semi-final on June 29.
Hyland's Breffni charges held off a strong second half comeback from Fermanagh at Brewster Park this afternoon to put back-to-back victories together in the Ulster SFC for the first time in 12 years.
"We had a good battle with them in the league and just came out on top. If we work as hard as we did today, we will not be far away," he told the BBC.
Reflecting on today's game, the Cavan manager said: "It was one of those typical championship games. We knew coming here it was going to be a battle. We said all week it was going to be a one or two-point game and that's how it turned out.
"But we have lots to work on between now and the Monaghan game."
