Preview: Connacht SFC - Mayo v Roscommon
June 15, 2013

Mayo captain Andy Moran raises the Nestor Cup at Dr Hyde Park.
Mayo manager James Horan has been busy this weekend trying to dampen down expectations in the county.
No sooner had the final whistle blown in their 4-16 to 0-11 demolition of Galway than Mayo supporters started talking about the knock-out stages of the All-Ireland championship and, possibly, going one step further than last year.
Horan insists his players won't get carried away by the 'daft' talk, as he describes it, and their focus is solely on this Sunday's semi-final outing against Roscommon in Castlebar.
Richie Feeney replaces the injured Cillian O'Connor in the only change to the team this weekend.
That means former captain Andy Moran will, once again, have to be content with a place on the bench.
Roscommon, under new manager John Evans, are something of an unknown quantity.
Their league campaign was a mixed bag but of more concern to supporters of the Rossies will be the absence of Donie Shine from their starting line-up.
Goalkeeper Darren O'Malley and left half back Conor Daly will make their senior championship debuts.
Roscommon football received a great boost earlier this year with the success of St Brigid's in the All-Ireland Club SFC. Will that rub off on the county team?
The qualifiers will most likely provide them with the best opportunity of making an impression in this year's championship.
