Cork's Lorcan McLoughlin with Tipperary's James Woodlock
Lorcan McLoughlin has joined Pa Cronin on the doubtful list for Cork's Munster SHC semi-final against Clare on Sunday week.
The highly-rated forward, who was one of the Rebels' top performers in their ill-fated Allianz League campaign, suffered torn ligaments in his shoulder after falling heavily at training on Tuesday night and is a decision on his participation in the game won't be taken until next week.
Team captain Cronin remains a doubtful starter, despite being released from hospital following treatment for a bout of pneumonia.
"Patrick was very sick and hasn't a lot done as a result," selector Kieran Kingston explained to the Irish Examiner.
"He's in a race against time to be fit for the Clare game as a result, which is a huge shame given all the work that he's done and the fact that he's captain, obviously."
Cork will definitely be without Paudie O'Sullivan who has been ruled out for the rest of the season after breaking his leg in a club championship match a few weeks ago.
