Cavan urge fans to travel early

Travel to Enniskillen early to support the boys.
The Cavan County Board have told supporters to travel to Enniskillen early on Sunday.

Cavan take on Fermanagh in the Ulster SFC quarterfinal at Brewster Park and also on in Enniskillen is the G8 Summit which sees all the road leaders gathered for a meeting.

Security in the area has been beefed up no end and there's a genuine concern that Cavan fans will have difficulty travelling to the game.

However, county board secretary Declan Woods stressed to the Anglo-Celt that traffic disruption would be kept to a minimum, but he stated that supporters should leave home earlier than normal.

"The main sacrifice that Cavan supporters are going to have to make is that we're asking them to be on the road hours earlier than they would normally be for a game in Enniskillen," said Woods.

"This is a championship match, our players will be making sacrifices and we want our supporters to come out in force."
