Fermanagh swings and roundabouts: Donnelly fit / McGuinness KO'd

June 11, 2013

Fermanagh's Eoin Donnelly
Fermanagh midfielder Eoin Donnelly will be fit to line out against Cavan on Sunday.

The Erne County have been dogged with a lengthy list of injuries in the run-up to the derby duel at Brewster Park but Donnelly - who broke his leg against Monaghan in March - is one of several players to have made late recoveries ahead of the Ulster SFC quarter-final.

Coa clubman Donnelly featured in a challenge against Cork at the weekend, while manager Peter Canavan is also set to welcome back Daniel Kille, Sean Quigley, Conor Quigley, James Sherry, Ryan McCluskey and Niall Bogue this weekend, with Shane Lyons and Tommy McElroy also nearing full fitness.

That's the good news out of the way...

But, typically, there are also some bad tidings as full back Anthony McGuinness suffered a broken collarbone against the Rebels and has been ruled out of the Cavan game, as have Barry Mulrone (knee) and Daryl Keenan (back).
