Flynn praise for Flynn

Kildare's Daryl Flynn
Kildare youngster Daniel Flynn is full of praise for his namesake Daryl.

The duo lined out at midfield for the Lilywhites as they defeated Offaly in the opening round of the Leinster SFC last Saturday evening.

Although, Kildare's performance was criticised by many, the midfield partnership seemed to work well and the 19-year-old admitted to the Kildare Nationalist that the more experienced Flynn had been a great help to him.

"Myself and Daryl have been going well in training. He's very good, he's full of encouragement," stated Daniel.

"It's not necessarily him sitting back and me pushing forward, we switch and swap, that was just the way it worked out. I got up the field a bit more and Daryl sat back, but that's not always the case."
