Dublin youngster Johnny Cooper says form will go out the window when Dublin meet Kildare.
The Dubs, who are defending provincial champions, have been installed as red-hot favourites for the June 30th Leinster SFC semi-final at Croke Park on the back of their facile defeat of Westmeath last weekend.
But corner back Cooper, who made his first championship start against the Lake men on Saturday night, says Kieran McGeeney's men have to be respected:
"I think we'll go out in a few weeks' time and it will be level pegging," he notes in The Irish Daily Mirror. "They'll be gunning for us and likewise us for them.
"It's always on the day and it's a new year, we have a new team. So it doesn't really matter who the form team is.
"Kildare will be coming now since the end of the league. It will be a totally different feel to the game in four weeks' time.
"They'll be really gunning for it. We'll have to really pick it up in the next couple of weeks."
