Limerick footballer Paudie Browne believes that the supporters could make all the difference against Cork.
The Shannonsiders host the reigning Munster champions at the Gaelic Grounds on Saturday evening with the host county going into the match as 8/1 outsiders to cause an upset.
However, Browne points to their last championship game at the Gaelic Grounds, which was the extra time defeat to Kildare in last year's qualifiers.
Browne believes that on that occasion, it was the Kildare supporters that got their team over the line and he explained to the Limerick Leader that their supporters could do a similar job this weekend.
"People don't realise what a difference a roar from the stands can make," said Browne. "I think that if we can get a big crowd in the Gaelic Grounds that it will be a big help to us."
