Kevin Ryan made no attempt to hide his disappointment after Antrim's surprise defeat to Laois in the Leinster SHC on Saturday evening.

"You'll always find positives somewhere, but we're very disappointed," the Antrim manager admitted in the Irish News.

"I would not say we never showed up, but we really didn't in relation to the way we thought we would play. We were not one bit surprised with Laois. I thought Laois were very good, in fairness to them.

"I don't think we showed up in a lot of areas, particularly in our forward line as a unit. We never really threatened." Tweet
