Selector Kieran Kingston is hoping Cork can unearth a replacement for broken leg victim Paudie O'Sullivan between now and the start of the Munster SHC.

The Rebels defeated Limerick by 5-14 to 2-17 in a SH challenge at Kilworth last night with Stephen Moylan, Michael O'Sullivan, Luke O'Farrell, Daniel Kearney and Cathal Naughton accounting for their goals. Brian Hartnett also impressed with four points in a game which Jimmy Barry-Murphy's side led by 2-8 to 0-11 at half-time.

"Paudie's a huge loss to us, so there are a few contenders," Kingston explained to the Irish Examiner.

"Guys put their hands up tonight but it's only one part of the jigsaw, we have a game next Sunday against Tipperary, then there's a break before championship and we have a match with Galway after that, a couple of weeks before we play Clare or Waterford."
