Jamie Clarke marked his return to the Armagh colours with a quick-fire hat-trick in a SF challenge against Louth yesterday.

The Crossmaglen ace recently returned from his travels around South America and immediately linked up with Paul Grimley's squad. And despite being out of football for nearly two months, he showed his star quality by blasting three goals in just 35 minutes.

Clarke's scoring heroics weren't enough to save Armagh from defeat, but his performance is a timely boost ahead of the Orchard County's Ulster SFC preliminary round clash with Cavan on Sunday week. Tweet
