Paul Galvin is confident that his tight-fitting tracksuit bottoms will soon be all the rage in the GAA after taking delivery of an order from sportswear manufacturers O'Neill's.

The trend-setting Kerry star, who is as famous for his tight-fitting trousers as his football skills, wrote on his fashion blog: "Big thanks to ONeill's for my special delivery yesterday. They fit great."

The former Footballer of the Year, who has applied to trademark the word 'Galvinise' for a sportswear brand he plans to launch, also joked in his blog that he could have a battle on his hands to persuade fellow Kerry ace Tomas O Se to wear the new skinny tracksuit bottoms.

"Marc O Se will definitely wear them I think. The question is will Tomas O Se? I have my doubts, but we will see. Can't wait for match-day already!" Tweet
