Nowlan Park to host league final

Nowlan Park Kilkenny
Kilkenny will have home advantage for Sunday week's Allianz Hurling League final due to a home-and-away arrangement with opponents Tipperary.
When the neighbouring counties last met in the final in 2009, the match was played at Semple Stadium, and Tipp have now agreed to return the favour with this year's decider set to take place in Nowlan Park, which has a 30,000-plus capacity.
"I don't know if Kilkenny have ever had a league final in Nowlan Park before and the fact that it's Tipperary will probably add to it," Cats selector Michael Dempsey said after yesterday's facile win over Galway.
"It will be good for the Kilkenny fans because they won't have to travel too far."
