1. Sean Currie (Ballymun Kickhams)

Emerged as one of his team's many heroes when saving Chris Brady's 38th minute penalty in Semple Stadium.

2. Aidan O'Mahony (Munster)

The Kerry veteran and his Munster team-mates came up just short of Ulster in an entertaining Inter Provincial semi-final.

A late call up to the Ballymun starting 15, any defender that holds Colm Cooper to two points has to be happy with his day's work.

4. Peter Domican (St Brigid's)

Was a rock solid presence in the St Brigid's defence as they managed to keep the much-vaunted Crossmaglen attack at bay.

5. Alan Hubbard (Ballymun Kickhams)

Brian Looney claimed the 'Player of the Munster championship' accolade but he got little change off the highly impressive Hubbard.

6. Darren Hughes (Ulster)

The Monaghan man and Ulster captain is bidding to keep a firm grip on the Inter-Provincial silverware.

7. Adrian Flynn (Leinster)

Made a number of successful raids into the Connacht defence at Longford and sent over three points.

8. Philly McMahon (Ballymun Kickhams)

McMahon and his midfield partner James McCarthy laid the foundations for Ballymun's surprise victory over the Munster champions.

9. Karol Mannion (St Brigid's)

Grew in stature as the game in Mullingar progressed and played a big role in St Brigid's late push for a Croke Park final ticket.

10. Cathal McHugh (St Brigid's)

The St Brigid's half-forward was a contender for the 'man of the match' award and was on target with two points.

11. Emlyn Mulligan (Connacht)

The Leitrim captain's six-point haul wasn't enough to prevent the men from the west from falling to Leinster.

12. Sean Cavanagh (Ulster)

Used his experience to telling effect as Ulster held off a Munster fight-back in the Athletic Grounds.

13. Paul Conroy (Connacht)

Was unfortunate to finish up on the losing side after scoring 1-5 - 1-4 from play - against Leinster.

14. Senan Kilbride (St Brigid's)

His ball winning ability caused a lot of headaches for the Crossmaglen full-back line.

15. Bernard Brogan (Leinster)
