Down produced a remarkable recovery to claim silverware over Roscommon this afternoon at St Loman's 3G, Mullingar.

The Mourne Men trailed at half time 1-11 to 0-6, the Connacht outfit were full value for their lead. Their goal came on 9 minutes.

However, the Rossies were restricted to just three second half points (their final point on 47 minutes) while Down fired over ten unanswered scores.

Both sides are due to meet again on Saturday, March 16th in the league.
