Banty throws hat in Rossies ring
28 September 2012
Seamus McEnaney has resigned as manager of Meath.
Seamus McEnanaey is a surprise candidate for the vacant Roscommon manager's post.
The former Monaghan and Meath manager has confirmed that he might be interested in succeeding Des Newtown, who resigned a fortnight ago after just one year in charge.
When asked if he was interested in the job, 'Banty' told Shannonside FM:
"Roscommon have a lot of young players coming through. Maybe if they are well harnessed they might not be far away in the next two or three years. I never turn anything down or switch anything in or out."
